Course Overview
In the Sports Journalism Training Course participants learn the skills and information necessary to succeed in the sports media. Participants in the course gain knowledge of how media organizations' sports departments function, as well as how to plan and conduct research for sports coverage on radio and television. They also learn how to produce news stories, match reports, commentary, preview features, opinion pieces, and personality profiles. It is taught by professionals in the field and blends theory and real-world activities to make participants proficient sports communicators.
