Course Overview
The Advanced News Journalism Course is intended for both seasoned and prospective journalists who wish to improve their abilities in contemporary news reporting. A successful career as a staff journalist requires a wide range of abilities, all of which this course will teach you. Interviewing and reporting skills will be taught to you. You'll learn how to manage a running tale, recognize the value of house style, do basic "subbing," write headlines and descriptions and deliver content. In addition, it provides a deep understanding of the ethics and regulatory requirements while providing a solid foundation in newsroom theory and practice.
